ICC T20 World Cup 2022: India’s teams for the 2019 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia and the T20 series against Australia and South Africa at home were selected during a meeting of the All-India Senior Selection Committee on Monday. India has picked a 15-man India T20 World Cup Roster, including the recently-revived Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel. On the other hand, veteran pacer Mohammad Shami is one of four players on standby for the international championship.
After completing an intensive rehabilitation programme at the NCA, the BCCI medical staff cleared Bumrah (back injury) and Harshal (side strain) to play in the Series. India’s first game versus Pakistan is set on October 23.
